Information
The Best Bred Tournament is an annual tournament run by SOPS every year. It does not take place in any specified game week; rather, it is simply opened and then closed according to real life dates. This event should be highly regarded; the prizes for winning are lucrative reserves to very good horses.
This year, entries will close November 8, 2012. The event shall run by the end of that weekend. I will judge each and every event.
Judging
As the title suggests, the best bred horse will win this tournament. I will be judging mainly off of bloodline suitability to the class entered. There will be a little bit of personality judging thrown in as well as a type of tiebreaker, but the main judging will be on bloodlines. I know bloodlines don't determine everything; however, this tournament was formed to honor the yearlings and weanlings with the best bloodlines.
Entry Requirements
1. Your horse must be a SIM bred horse with a SIM pedigree. Created/original horses will not be allowed. Horses from made-up parents will not be allowed.
2. One horse per member per division. You can enter one horse in everything if you want; however, you can't enter two in one division. You'll have to make the decision.
3. Horses entering the yearling division must have been born in year eleven; horses entering the weanling division must have been born in year twelve (this year).
4. Got a horse with a distance extension? Here is a list of where you would enter those horses: - 5-9 must be entered in Sprints
- 5-10 can be entered in Sprints or Classic
- 6-10 can be entered in Sprints or Classic
- 6-11 must be entered in Classics, unless you can make a very convincing argument for Sprints
- 7-11 must be entered in Classics
- 7-12 must be entered in Classics
