Name: Acantha Link To Page: [x] Sire: Like a Cheetah (G1) Dam: Rosalind (G5) Notable Siblings Through Sire: - Sweeto Cheeto (G5) - Like a Runaway (P) Notable Siblings Through Dam: - TC Winner Admiral's Revenge (G1) - Requiem (G4) - Dam of HoF Deadly Desires - Bucephalus (M) - Sire of Abastor - Admirable (G2)
Pedigree Comments: This bay filly has pure classic bloodlines flowing through her veins. Like a Cheetah was a great turf horse with wins like the BC Sprint win and BC Mile win to his name. With 14 wins to his name he was a successful stallion. As a sire, his oldest foal is four year old Sweeto Cheeto out of HoF mare Sweet Stalker. Acantha is his second oldest foal and first filly. Rosalind is a mare that needs no introduction. Though she herself is only a Grade Five mare, she has produced foals of unparalleled caliber. Her first foal is the sole MHS Triple Crown Winner, Admiral's Revenge. With 94% consistency he is a stallion of high quality. Also to Rosalind's name are the Augusto twins, Bucephalus and Requiem. Both are proving to be top quality producers themselves, with Requiem already boasting of a HoF'er to her name. Admirable is Rosalind's other daughter and full sibling to TC Winner Admiral's Revenge. She is a G2 mare that killed on the tracks. As you can see there isn't a dud foal to Rosalind's name.

Name: Dare To Impress Link To Page: xSire: HoF Impressario ( HoF Merry Bay King x HoF Bank On Silver) Dam: HoF Dare To Dream ( Prancing In The Darkness x Selle Francais Notable Siblings Through Sire: Ventura out of Rising Fury, Born To Impress out of Born To Fly, Italian Ice out of Cute Italian, Impress The Moonlight out of Moondance and Pandora out of Wildly Natural. Notable Siblings Through Dam: Dreamcatcher by CCI Suprise Party. Pedigree Comments:Areto’s pedigree is out of this world! With the likes of Impressario, Dare To Dream, Bank On Silver, Merry Bay King and Prancing In The Darkness, Areto has some real solid traditional lines. With both parents being inducted into the Hall Of Fame and both of her sire’s parents also being inducted there are high hopes for Areto. Both parent and all but one grandparent were accomplished grade one race horses, all well known for their exceptional talent and amazing racing. So, when it comes to blood, Areto has it all! Going off her lines, she should make an amazing filly and race horse. Oak Hill have high hopes for Areto to make one of the best race horses they have ever seen! Areto’s sire, Impressario, won Y5 Prospect of the Year, Y6 Colt of the year, Best 2YO Colt, Best Grade Two, Y7 Racehorse of the Year, Best Dirt Horse, Best Grade One, Y8 Colt of the Year, Best Older Horse, Y9 Racehorse of the Year and was inducted in to the Hall Of Fame. There was nothing this horse had missing, he was pure talent and passion. Impressario’s current racing are already proving themselves on the track, such as Ventura and Italian Ice who have already broken in to grade four in the 2yo season and never placed out of the top three and also Born To Impress who is also in the 2yo season, only one win away from grade four and also never placed out of the top three. Impress The Moonlight and Pandora will be rivalling Areto on the track. Areto’s dam, Dare To Dream, was also a strong race horse. She won and Encouragement Award in Y9 and was inducted into the Hall Of Fame at the end of her racing career. She won many major races throughout her five years of racing such as: Breeder’s Cup Marathon, Winter Cup x2, Queen Cup, Dubai World Cup, Unicorn Horn Fillies and placed in many other major races. Areto was born to race and race she shall.

win Prima Donna place Ali Alakazam third Acantha fourth Dare To Impress fifth Get Loose
Prima Donna had the most solid turf lines in the field, with no dirt influence whatsoever. That easily gave her the win. Ali Alakazam was the next horse, in my opinion, with the best turf bloodlines. Nate has produced great horses on the turf and the dirt, but he's mainly a turf or dual sire, and Ali's dam Blanchette was most certainly a great turfer. Acantha has a great turf sire but it was her dam's progeny record that threw me off a bit. Being a half sibling to a Triple Crown winner would have gotten her brownie points in a different prospect show - but this is classic turf, and the TC is classic dirt. That definitely diluted the blood a bit. Next, Dare To Impress has amazing bloodlines that scream more dirt than turf to me. There are a lot of dirt influences in her blood, and Ario's most notable accomplishments (and the ones of his foals) come mainly over the dirt. There were more dirt influences here than in Acantha's pedigree. Finally, Get Loose has some good turf lines, but the acclaim of them could not compare to the caliber of the horses here. That doesn't mean that he won't be a great racehorse though!
Congratulations to Ripley on winning the reserve to Worldbreaker!
