Pedigree Comments: Ladam Rose has an amazing pedigree. Her sire is the son of MHS's only Triple Crown winner Admiral's Revenge. He was also a great racehorse and is throwing some good speed to his offspring. His oldest son, Sunset Crusade won the Kentucky Derby and the Breeder's Cup Classic among many big races. He is also grade one. His second oldest son won the Belmont Stakes and placed in the other two legs of the Triple Crown and is already Grade three at only three years old. There is just so much to say about Rosie's bloodlines through her sire. As for her dam Charisma, she is a grade one racehorse as well and was also well known around the MHS track. Her first son is Knight Rousseau would is ripping up the track right now at a grade three level.}

Dye comes from old lines. His sire was known for being a sire of champions. Augusta is one of his most well-known foals and from her lines have descended the likes of Warlock (G2), Atalanta (G2), Contessa (G1), and Anarchi (G3). Requiem is another well-known daughter of Augusto, but for much different reasons. There is no question that Requiem is a proven producer with a HoF'er to her name, Deadly Desires. She is also the dam of the upcoming Nightshade (G4), and proven horses like Seraphim (G1), Screaming Mimi (G4) and many others. Bucephalus is also an Augusto son who is starting to prove himself as a producer with his first foal Abastor on the ground. Abastor is a Magic Millions Winner and a Follow the Hoofprints Classic Winner.
Dye's dam, Sun Chaser is well-lined herself. Out of Djerba's Sunshine sired by Djerba, a well-known stallion from SS/MHS, he was a Twilight Stakes winner ans was the first original horse on SS to become a legend (the equivalent of HoF). He was also the Iron Horse winner and Olympic Winner on SS. A major accomplishment. We won't even go into all of his foals. Determination is the sire of Sun Chaser and he was also a Twilight Stakes winner. Through this sire, Sun Chaser is half-siblings to Faith in Shadows (G2), Impossible Determination (sire of GS Gallant Prince - G1 , BC Classic Winner, Preakness Winner, Dawn Treader Cup Winner).

So you can see that both sides of Dye's pedigree goes back at least three to four generations with high caliber coming from both sides of Dye's pedigree. He was bred to run the classic distances.</sub>

News Flash, her sire, was a great racehorse. He retired with the race record of 54-16-9-18. Deabuelle is by True Enough who is a Hall of Farm racehorse. He has sired many great racehorses. Just to name a few, HOF Euphoria, Lusitania, and Radiance. He retired with a race record of 73-23-16-11. Deabuelle dam, Palisades Silver didn't do a whole lot on the track. She is dam of Cry Out Chaos and Silver Stalker.

Nate is sired by Tempered Passion a Grade 1 Stallion who won The Breeders Cup and quite a few other races that he dominated over. His dam Dark Goddess however, did not accomplish to get over her Maiden grade she did however, placed in the Sapphire Stakes and showed in the Seasprayed Cup Maiden. Nate's Grand-Sire is Impassioned Wind a Grade One Stallion who also sired Triple Crown winner Furious Passion.

As stated before, this prospect race was judged entirely on bloodlines at first. Ladam Rose was the clear winner to me. Her lines are solid and proven dirt with not a touch of turf anywhere. Furious By Nature has very impressive bloodlines, but there is a touch of turf influence there. Anodyne and Dreaming Of Glory were tied and I went to personality to decide a horse for third. Both have some great lines but, once again, there are some turf connections there. For example, in Anodyne's case Vendetta is a turf horse. Dreaming Of Glory had some turf influence as well from her grandparents, as did Bank On Glory. Passionate God has some good relations to the dirt a bit farther back and not as immediately. Truly Flashy's bloodlines were not of as much acclaim and as such she placed last.

Once again, this is a competition judged on bloodlines and breeding choice...so please don't be upset! I said I would judge on bloodline suitability, in my opinion, and that's what I did.

Congratulations to Kirsten on winning the reserve to Eternal Phantom! Which truly is only fitting xD
