Name: Impress The Moonlight Link To Page: [x] Sire: Impressario Dam: Moondance Notable Siblings Through Sire: Born To Impress, Ventura, Italian Ice Notable Siblings Through Dam: None as of yet. Pedigree Comments: Imogen signifies the merging of two very powerful horses, from strong racing lines. She is sired by the first triple crown winner, hall of famer Impressario, who was an absolutely formidable force on the track. With a record of 75:35/27/11 and boasting a consistency rating of over ninety-seven per cent, this stallion only placed out of the top three twice in his entire career - once as a two year old and once as a three year old. His numerous wins include four different Breeder's Cup races including the Breeder's Cup Classic, the Dubai World Cup and all three legs of the Triple Crown among numerous other great achievements. As if this was not enough to boast about, Impressario himself was from amazing parents being a son of HOF Merry Bay King and HOF Bank On Silver. He has a number of notable siblings, including HOF Euphoria, Lusitania and Bank On Glory. His first foals include Italian Ice (G2 winner of the Breeder's Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf) and Ventura (G2 who placed in the Breeder's Cup Juvenile Fillies). Imogen is out of Moondance, a grade one dirt horse with a number of impressive wins to her name. She was a lot less consistent that Ario, but also achieved wins in the Breeder's Cup Classic and Dubai World Cup which just goes to show the talent that she possesses. She took a lot of time to mature and come into herself, which might explain why she has the lower level of consistency. She has wins such as the Kentucky Oaks and a win in the Stable Face Off. She is sired by Dancing In The Moonlight and has a same-age half sister called Dashing In The Firelight who made it to Grade One.
I felt like putting them in so it was easier for you. ^-^

Name: Taboo Link To Page: click Sire: Everyday Hero Dam: Forbidden Wings Notable Siblings Through Sire: Vindictive Fury, Strictly A Hero, Wish Upon A Star, Everyday Smile, Majestic Hero Notable Siblings Through Dam: Silent Wings, HOF Pegasus Wings, Flashy Wings, and Forbidden to Fly Pedigree Comments: Taboo's pedigree reads like a "Who's who" in thoroughbred racing. Her sire, Hall of Famer Everyday Hero, was a powerful grade one racehorse who managed to notch eighteen wins during his thoroughly impressive career. Everyday Hero is the sire of Vindictive Fury, Strictly A Hero, Witch Creek's Wish Upon A Star, Wishing For A Heroine, Everyday Smile, Majestic Hero, Dragonheart and Black Zephyr. The most accomplished of the group is Vindictive Fury, Y11's Best Dirt Horse and winner of the Breeders Cup Marathon and the Alabama Stakes. All of his foals have proven to be extremely consistent with only Strictly A Hero and Wish Upon A Star above two years of age. Strictly A Hero won the Alot to Live Up To Stakes as a two year old and Wish Upon A Star won the All Along and finished second in the Oaks Stakes. Everyday Smile won the Magic Millions Fillies Dirt and the Unicorn Horn Juvenile. Majestic Hero has won the Follow The Hoofprints Turf Mile. Forbidden Wings was a grade two racehorse who turned into a more productive and famous broodmare for Stride of Perfection Stable. She is the dam of Silent Wings, Pegasus Wings, Flashy Wings and Forbidden to Fly. Silent Wings won the Ruffian Handicap, the Coaching Club American Oaks, the Breeders Cup Dirt Mile, the Dubai Filly Cup, and the Red Wine Sprint. Silent Wings is the dam of Battle Wings and Silent Snap. Battle Wings won the Follow The Hoofprints Dirt Mile as a two year old. Pegasus Wings is the most notable of Forbidden Wing's foals being a Hall of Famer. He won the Breeders Cup Sprint twice and the Breeders Cup Turf Sprint once. He also won the Eagle Cup, the Azalea Cup colts, the Wire Finish Cup Sprint, and the Turquoise Sprint twice. He is the sire of Winged Pegasus, Athena's Desires and Starlite, all of whom are weanlings at this time. Flashy Wings won the Y12 Breeders Cup Classic, the Y10 Breeders Cup Juvenile, the Y11 Preakness and Belmont Stakes, the Y11 Climax Cup, and the Unicorn Horn Dirt Classic twice. Forbidden to Fly won the Y11 Breeders Cup Juvenile, the Y11 Unicorn Horn Juvenile, the Unicorn Horn Dirt Sprint and the Forego Stakes.

Name: StarFire Link To Page: HereSire: Bucephalus (Augusto x Rosalind) Dam: Fly High Silver Notable Siblings Through Sire: Incitatus, G4 Abastor, Shenanigans Notable Siblings Through Dam: GS Ultimate Challenge, Dead Letter, Geronimo, Frontier, GS Good Times, Belladona, FS Mockingbird, Cynical, GM Afterburn Pedigree Comments: Bucephalus is a retired Maiden stallion owned by Intrepid Racing. He grew to be too aggressive to keep on the track, but he is proving to be a great sire. His fiery passion has indeed passed onto his foals. His pedigree is undeniably royal. His sire is the legendary Augusto and the proven brood Rosalind, making him half-brother to MHS TC Winner Admiral's Revenge. His twin sister, Requiem is making a name for herself too as a brood with a HoF to her name and it looks like Buce can produce the same top quality. As for Sparx's Dam Fly High Silver a mare of top quality, both on the track and as a brood. She is a BC Winner on TE, a Twilight Stakes placer and many many more. As a brood, she really shines. There really isn't a dud foal to her name and StarFire won't be the exception.

Name: Dancing Fool Link To Page: HereSire: Dancing in the Moonlight Dam: Foolish Entity (Foolish Pleasure x Aunty Entity) Notable Siblings Through Sire: Moondance, Dashing in the Firelight, On To The Spotlight, Strike A Pose, Canjun Moon, and Lunar Eclipse Notable Siblings Through Dam: Moondance, Foolish Lad, One With Gold, Dawn Of Silence, and Flashpoint Pedigree Comments: Bane's Sire, Dancing In The Moonlight, was a Grade Two horse who raced at a number of tracks and gathered a total of ten wins before being retired to the show ring, where he was also very successful. Dancing In The Moonlight has sired several foals previously, of which some have now retired and gone on to breed themselves. Some of his best known foals are Moondance and Dancing In The Firelight, who were known to have a rivalry on the track, as well as the impressive grade one mare, On To The Spotlight. Foolish Entity is Bane's Dam and although she raced, very little is known about her racing career and her show career was short. She has, however, proven herself to be an impressive dam with several strong foals. Of these, the most prominent are Moondance and Foolish Lad who excelled on their individual surfaces, but she is also the dam of Dawn Of Silence, Paranormal Entity and One With Gold. Bane is the full sibling of recently retired Moondance, who retired as a Grade One with wins in races such as the Dubai World Cup, the Breeder's Cup Classic and other major dirt races. The colt is expected to run over the same distance as his older sister.

win Impress The Moonlight place Dancing Fool show Taboo fourth StarFire
Impress The Moonlight blew me away with her potential over the classics on the dirt. Born To Impress, Ventura and Italian Ice have all won major dirt races this year, which really added to her record. Not to mention both sire and dam won the Breeders Cup Classic and were amazing over the classic dirt. She clearly stood out from this crowd of strong bloodlines. Taboo and Dancing Fool killed me. Taboo is obviously beautifully lined all over the place, whiel Dancing Fool is Mona's full sibling and everything else besides. Taboo's dam has produced winners on every surface and distance. This let her down slightly. However, Dancing Fool had some unmistakeably strong turf connections. In the end, Dancing Fool took second because his bloodlines are dominantly classic, while Taboo has some sprinters mixed in. StarFire has some great old lines. As it is, they were not quite as proven to me over the classic dirt surface as the others (or perhaps I just don't know them as well! XD). I think StarFire has some great lines to prove out here on this circuit though.
The reserve to Sizzling Dawn goes to Alexia!
