Name: Seems Legit Link To Page: [x] Sire: True Enough Dam: Luscia Notable Siblings Through Sire: Radiance, Euphoria, Lusitania Notable Siblings Through Dam: Afterglow, Spitting Image, Night Goddess. Pedigree Comments: True Enough is a stallion who needs no introduction, being among the first horses to be inducted into the Green Horse Fields Hall Of Fame and had a well known rivalry with Merry Bay King and Bank On Silver. His racing career was impressive and he was able to amount 23 wins in a time when even reaching Grade One was difficult. Running on both surfaces, True Enough became known as one of the all time greats of Green Horse Fields. But being renowned as a racer was not enough, and True Enough went on to prove himself in the breeding shed, siring greats such as HOF Euphoria, Lusitania and Radiance. Luscia was an unraced mare and unheard of when she first arrived as a brood but her offspring have made her a broodmare of note. Her oldest foal, Alluring Assault, defied the odds in Y12 to claim fourteen wins, rising to Grade One from Grade Four. She received honours for this feat in the Kincsem Awards at The Wire. Another of her foals, Afterglow, won a leg of the Triple Tiara and has won in two different Breeder's Cup races. Afterglow has also made it to Grade One and is still racing. Luscia's other foals are Spitting Image, Night Goddess and Le Roi.

Name: Admiral's Lady Link To Page: HereSire: MHS Triple Crown Winner, Admiral's Revenge (War Admiral x Rosalind) Dam: Dashing in the Firelight (Dancing in the Moonlight x Dash for Cash) Notable Siblings Through Sire: Akuma Battlecry, Catching Fire, Souvenir, GS Super Charged, Heartless Revenge, Ultimate Revenge, Admiral's Holiday, and Vengeance Notable Siblings Through Dam: Flaming Confidenza Pedigree Comments: Mira is a very well bred filly with very strong lines. Her sire Admiral's Revenge ran a record of 91-38-25-23 within his career and in all of that won the MHS Triple Crown title and moving up to become Grade 1. His lines derive back to War Admiral and Rosalind. This stallion had winnings of 2 Million Dollars although he retired he went on to become a very successful stud, His notable foals are Akuma Battlecry, Catching Fire, Souvenir, GS Super Charged, Heartless Revenge, Ultimate Revenge, and Vengeance. Reve had also become an incredible Grand-Sire of many other foals. Reve's parentage comes from War Admiral and Rosalind, as this Stallion is the half sibling to Atalanta, Admirable, Warlock and Bellefire while through Rosalind he is related to Requiem who is the Dam of HOF Deadly Desires. Dashing in the Firelight is a Grade 1 Mare with the record of 52-14-14-7. She was a brilliant horse on the tracks being a horse to run on dirt surfaces. She did win the Consumato Derby during her 5th year and won many other stakes races she had also placed in the Breeders Cup Marathon two years in a row. She came to dominate the dirt tracks year after year until she retired at the age of 6. She is the daughter of Dancing in the Moonlight and Dash for Cash. Dancing in the Moonlight was a grade two racehorse who went to sire amazing racehorses such as Breeders Cup Classic winner Moondance. Dash for Cash was a grade five racehorse of little acclaim. Thus far, Fire is her best foal. Mira is Fire's second foal and comes from two grade 1 parents.

win Admiral's Lady place Uno Momento show Enrapture fourth Seems Legit
Mmm. I loved the pedigrees on all of these horses and there was no true standout here. I went by the successes of the sire and dam and of their offspring here. Enrapture is loaded with classic dirt talent through her sire, not as much through her dam. However, Palisades Silver has the proven credentials through her daughter Silver Stalker, the grade one dirt mare. Uno Momento also has beautiful lines, if I may be so biased xD Barely A Moment and El Sol Del Mar were both monstrously good at this distance and on this surface. Momento's filly Sizzling Dawn won the Preakness Stakes, a definite sign of classic dirt talent. Sunny has produced Phantie and Midtee, both amazing at the classic dirt distance. The only drawback in the sprinting that characterizes Mastermind. Seems Legit is sired by the legend True Enough, who is renown for siring classic dirt horses. Moving on from him, we find Luscia. Luscia detracts a bit from the pureness of this pedigree. Alluring Assault, after all, is a classic turf mare. Afterglow was prominent in the Triple Tiara, so that does add. Spitting Image is more of a turf sprinter if memory serves though. The classic dirt legacy is not very strong here due to the dam's turf connections. Admiral's Lady stood out to me. Admiral's Revenge not only won the Triple Crown, but has his own dynasty of progeny. We can't forget his most prominent foal, Akuma Battlecry, the sire of many dirt monsters for Star Thoroughbreds. Dashing in the Firelight was a great classic dirt mare with strong connections. Dash For Cash has only sired dirt foals, while Dancing in the Moonlight has his fair share as well.
To me, Admiral's Lady commanded the strongest legacy over the classic dirt surface due to her sire. Uno Momento followed with the classic success of his sibling relations. Enrapture's sireline is not yet proved yet successful. Seems Legit's strong turf connections through Luscia hurt here.
Thus, Sammy gets the reserve to Forbidden To Fly!
