Wild Annie and Passionist were hard to separate. Both of their sires are incredibly proven turf producers and both of their dams were excellent turf racehorses with no proven foals yet. In the end, Wild Annie took this because of the background turf pedigree from her dam, while Passionist has a create (but my favorite mare!) for her dam. Peacebreaker has got incredibly strong turf connections from sire, but from dam we have True Enough who is a producer of great dirt horses too. Tempered Tempest has a solid pedigree, but siblings from dam have been successful dirt producers over turf, sans The Devil's Hourglass.
