Odin toes the line between bad and good. He is never purely the other, always a mix of the two, which makes him a very complex horse overall. Odin can be as nice as he is to look at. He'll neigh at you, wait patiently, obey your signals under saddle - provided that they are given not as commands but as suggestions. Odin does not respond to being bossed around and requires a very light hand. If you try to boss this colt, well, you've got yourself a mule. Odin will refuse beyond all expected endurance. With this horse, you have to ask in the right way or you'll get nothing at all. Odin is otherwise pleasant to be around. He plays nice with others, tolerates loud sounds and surprises and is fairly intelligent. He was a cinch to train. The tall chestnut is never afraid to throw his weight around in a herd, but unlike others it's not his first resort but his last. He is typically a peaceful colt, content to be left alone, but when the time calls for it Odin will never back down.

Odin is very passionate on the track. He loves to run and enjoys working out and racing, engaging fully in the task and never showing up with less than one hundred percent mental health if he can help it. From the minute the gates open, Odin assumes virtually any position in the field. He is completely nonplussed as to what position he takes, and provided that he has enough running room he really doesn't care. All that matters to Odin is closing the deal at the end of the race. The minute his jockey asks, Odin will give, and happily. He will respond to challenges, respond to cues from his rider and will get through traffic problems easily provided his jockey maintains a rock of sanity on his back and never loses her cool. Odin is a faithful horse, and he will carry his rider through the line safely every time. He is good-natured enough to give his best effort with every race, and displays the true fire of a racehorse in battle. Odin has heart and what is important to him is the win, not how he gets there.
