Sang is loud and proud. We're not sure why so many sprinters in the barn have this habit of never shutting up and being loud, crazy males, but Sang stands proudly among them. He's just loud and, unlike the others, seems to have a higher pitched neigh that just throbs in your ear when he's really bugling or expressing himself. Sang is built like a sports car; he's sleek, a bit shorter than average, and really knows how to scoot his way across the dirt. He is probably the most fluid mover of the barn, able to move his legs faster than move of his stablemates, showing him off to advantage as the sprinter that he is. Sang is not that attentive t his environment; little things escape his attention and end up surprising him. He's a spooky type, liable to freak out at small things and bugle his dismay at them rather than fight or flee. Sang's default response to any stimuli, really, is neighing at it. We're not quite sure why he chose to be so ridiculously expressive, and the only quiet moments of the day seems to be when he's sleeping or eating. Even Sang won't neigh when eating his grain; he values it too much to let any single morsel escape. Sang is very treat motivated. He'll become even louder than normal for a bite of carrot or apple, and plays no favorites among the different treats on offer. He enjoys being groomed and may even quiet down during the process, appearing to even fall asleep during a particularly relaxing session.
Leg Type: Pace Presser
Sang loves to influence the pace of the race. He's a quick breaker who will rocket right to the front, see who goes up there with him, drop back slightly, and then dog them for the entire race. He seems to get some sort of joy out of pushing a horse past their intended limits. While he may be comfortable, he knows his spot right alongside that front runner isn't comfortable for them, and he seems to milk it for what it's worth. It's not quite certain why he gets such a thrill out of essentially being an asshole during a race with his tactics, but it works for him so we haven't tried changing it. Sang will take up the lead if no other horse does, but he'll likely tease that first place to the others throughout the race, never getting too far ahead - until the final quarter, anyway. Then, he'll fire up his engines and blaze into a faster pace than you would've thought possible, keen to open the race wide open and neigh to his heart's content in the winners' circle and back at the barn.
