Horse Name: Phantasmagoria
YOB: Y19
Height: 15.3hh
Color: Chestnut
Gender: Female
Pedigree: Speak Easy x HoF Eternal Phantom [BHoF Night Stalker x HoF El Sol Del Mar]
It was decided from the beginning that Eternal Phantom would only see the classiest of studs as a brood. After crossing her with the royal pedigrees of Sunset Crusade, Anodyne, and Heartless Revenge, the decision was made to go somewhere fresh. Speak Easy fit the bill. Both Speak Easy and Eternal Phantom won the Kentucky Derby and the Breeders Cup Classic in their times. Phantasmagoria was the logical outcome of these two famous horses, and boy does she look the part.

Phanta is, frankly, equine perfection incarnate. Her conformation is quite literally flawless - not surprising considering the sort of horses her parents have produced and their own conformation. She has an effortless, graceful way of moving that simply exudes class and attracts eyes from start to finish, pairing physical looks with gorgeous chestnut coloring and a media darling's heart to boot. Phanta is an attention hog. She loves the cameras, reporters, all of it, and craves attention both on and off the track. This is probably a product of just how much attention was paid to her from birth; being the last foal - and only daughter - of Eternal Phantom warranted a lot of staff attention and media insanity from the start. Phanta has always handled the cameras like a pro and will literally pose for a camera shot. She glories in the feeling of eyes being on her and will put on a show if she ever feels as though no one is paying attention. This leads to her taking on quite a number of habits, both good and bad, just for attention. The intelligent minx knows exactly what she can and cannot get away with, but enjoys testing the boundaries at times just because she can. Though she can be a handful, Phanta does not have an unpleasant demeanor. She's not mean-spirited, just attention hungry. Give her what she wants, from impeccable grooming sessions to the most photogenic scenery, and you'll get a happier horse to handle.
Leg Type: Front Runner
It's honestly not surprising at all that Phanta prefers to set the pace when she races. Where better place to be than the front, after all? While her sire liked to hang just off the pace and her dam to either set or track it, Phanta's preference is to be at the front, always. "The front" does not always refer to first place, though; she's content to track in second or third provided she's at or on the pace. Phanta's cruising speed is just fast enough for the position that she prefers; where she really shines is in pure tactical speed. Phanta knows how to run efficiently, and she has buckets of stamina to pour into her front running pursuits. This is the kind of horse who will snap out to the lead and roll away to win by five at the wire if the other runners let her. She almost naturally takes advantage of any pace set up to set her own speed to advantage, and she always reserves something in the tank for a glorious stretch run that she just knows will attract the cameras she craves.
