Asus's sire Royal Red Richard is a GHF Hall of Fame inductee himself who has sired such horses as Here's The King and Royal Assassin as well as upcoming Proteus Prince. He is beginning to get acknowledged as a promising sire of future sprint stars. Forbidden Wings won the Breeders Cup Distaff is her time. She was awarded year eleven's Broodmare of the Year due to her talented foals. Silent Wings, her first, was a grade one who won the Coaching Club American Oaks as well as many others. Forbidden To Fly is a grade two three year old who beat out champion two year old Instant Success in the Breeders Cup Juvenile. Flashy Wings, yet another grade one, is currently four years old and a firm leader in his age division.
Asus is a small racehorse at only fifteen hands high, but don't let that fool you. You should watch him run before drawing conclusions on his potential as a racehorse. When Asus wants to go, which is all the time really, he will go, and his legs will flash forward with stunning speed. He's a sprinter through and through and can run five to seven furlongs successfully. Any longer and he will still try, but odds are he won't have the steam to finish. His boundless energy is one of his many advantages, as is his bond with his rider Henna Turath. Henna understands everything there is to know about Asus, and knows how to play his strengths and erase his weaknesses. Asus enjoys getting cared for and pampered, but if he is ever ignored expect a moody, distrustful colt. He'll suck up to you just for the chance of a nice pat on the nose and some exaggerated praise. However, if Asus if ever gets bored, expect a trickster like his dam. He'll open his stall door and leave no trace except for an open door, and then will wander where he pleases. Despite his small flaws, he is a lovable colt, and he'll capture anybody's heart the moment that he meets them.
