Wings is a joker. There was a time when she followed a stable hand into the feed room and nearly knocked herself out with the oats and stock of carrots and apples. She was so full of oats, she gained more than five pounds that night, and was kept off of racing for three months to get her back into racing weight and form. But when it comes to racing, she gets spirited and almost flies for joy as she stretches her long body through the curves and along the track. Now that she's off the track, she's nursed a more fiery side but seems to enjoy having a foal to take care of. Her impatient, bored whinnies are getting louder by the year though, so she will be moved on to eventing soon.
