Gender: Female
Pedigree: HoF Everyday Hero x BHoF Foolish Entity
Year Sixteen Encouragement Award
Year Eighteen Encouragement Award
Bri is a very special filly. The final foal of famous broodmare Foolish Entity, Bri is the last of her line and she lets her class show. Every time Bri so much as twitches, it is with a dazzling sort of grace that immediately attracts the eye. When Bri is trotting or anything faster than that, she is poetry in motion. And like the sensitive horse she is, Bri knows that she has all eyes on her twenty-four seven. This chestnut filly loves to give a performance and relishes the spotlight. She reminds us of In The Spotlight in this way. However, Bri is a subscriber to the philosophy of look, but don't touch. She does not tolerate human touch very well at all, preferring to be left alone. Oh yes, everybody is free to look at her, but touching her is enough for the performance to stop and for her to shut down completely. Groom her all you want, make her look good for the show, but in the end you had best leave her alone. Bri gets along with equines better than she ever will with humans. She is very affectionate with her species, constantly playing like a young horse and grooming others. But with humans, it is and will remain the opposite, at least until she builds enough trust in whoever she chooses to ride her.
Leg Type: Front Runner
Few horses love racing more than Bri. For any workout or race, Bri is one hundred percent focused on winning. The minute she gets to the track, this filly knows she gets to put on a show if she plays her cards right. She is calm and focused throughout warm-up all the way to the gates. But the minute those gates open, everything else ceases to matter. Bri breaks like a bullet, typically the first one out, and goes right for the lead. She has mountains of stamina - with her lines, this is no surprise, as well as how much speed she leaves in the rank for the final stretch. Bri enjoys being challenged and showing off every ounce of talent and will she possesses. She just goes faster as the race gets longer, and with every horse that challenges her her determination to win increases. Bri is ideally suited for competitive fields chock-full of horses. In less-competitive and crowded fields, Bri will still perform, but she is absolutely at her best when facing a mountain of horses between her and the win. Bri works best with a jockey that lets her do her own thing and saves her from being destroyed at the rail. All her jockey needs to do is manage the tactics; Bri's got the running all taken care of.
