Horse Name: Amaris
YOB: Y14
Height: 17hh
Color: Light Gray
Gender: Female
Sire: Ch. Frozen Motion [Spitz x Hira-Kiri]
Dam: HoF Axis Mundae [Warlock x HoF BHoF Little Miss Innocent]
Year Sixteen Juvenile of the Year
Year Seventeen Encouragement Award
Amaris is not a horse for the faint of heart. Simply put, she is a challenge. This tall mare inherited deadly temper from her dam and deadly speed from her sire. She knows how to boss others around in other to get her way. Using her tall height fully to its advantage, she does not hesitate to intimidate horses or humans into staying out of her way. Amaris is very strong willed. She does not take no for an answer when she wants something. Everything she does is at her own discretion, and if you try to force her to do anything you will get dumped on the ground, no questions asked. Mar does have a lighter side, however. She is wickedly intelligent and loves to play pranks on her humans, a trademark of the Little Miss Innocent line. She takes some sort of joy out of getting the better of others and perhaps feels that it strengthens her self-appointed reign as queen of the herd. Mar has no boundaries in pursuit of what she wants. She will get right in any horse or human's face when it comes to demanding what she wants, though she knows better than to get truly physical with the humans.
Leg Type: Stalker
Amaris is one evil horse out on the track. She carries herself like the queen she is all through the post parade, warm up and to the gate. She loads like a pro, letting no gate starter touch her, and when she breaks its fast. But Amaris doesn't go for the lead right away. No, Mar likes to hang out just off the leaders where she can watch the pace and influence it if she so chooses. Mar is not one to go all out right from the start. She conserves her speed and only goes as fast as she needs to - until she hits the final quarter of the race. Then, it won't matter what speed she's going at, because Mar only knows one - full tilt sprint. She has a scary fast kick for the lead with incredible momentum that few can match. She runs past the leaders like they're standing still and fends off any horses behind her by just going faster and faster. Mar loves to win as it confirms her dominance over the herd. Losing is never something she takes kindly to, and you can be sure of finding a horse in ill temper turning out crazy fast workouts until a win is claimed.
