Wild is the type of nice colt that was seriously missing from his crop, but don't be deceived - nice does not mean ordinary. Mr. Wild is nice to be around, whether horse or human. He is a generally nice horse who likes being shown affection and is not arrogant. He enjoys playing with his humans and hanging out with his equine friends and is never the type of horse to give problems. However, Mr. Wild does not bend when faced with a challenge; he pushes through with his will regardless of the odds. It is impossible to bully this colt as he does not give over his dominance to others; he keeps it to himself, and that is all he asks for. Mr. Wild particularly loves hanging out with the other calm horses of SOPS, horses like Foolish Lad. He is a smooth mover, chock-full of determination, and an absolute barn favorite. No horse likes staying in his home pasture more than Mr. Wild; the act of travel is no issue, but there is no place like home for this colt. He is best friends with all the barn cats and can often be found munching his hay with all the cats tumbling around him.
Sounds nice, right? But watch out - Wild is an interesting horse whenever the sun isn't out. When it's nighttime or early morning, Wild is an almost entirely different animal. He likes to be left alone, seemingly off in his own world in a very Incognito-like fashion. Nothing jerks the colt out of his absent-mindedness aside from the prospect of a good race or the rising of the sun. No human can reach him - only nature or competition can.
Leg Type: Variable
Mr. Wild is a track favorite as well as a barn favorite. No horse is easier to warm-up, walk or load into the gate. And his jockey loves him too, as when the gates open Mr. Wild will take whatever position his jockey wants him to. He takes no preference, and as long as he gets the job done this colt is happy to accommodate the conditions of the field. He has good racing instincts, bred after generations of racehorses in his pedigree, and instinctively knows how to bring home the win every time. Whether that means gradually moving up the field, pressuring the leaders throughout or simply taking the lead and running away with it, Mr. Wild knows how to race. And when Mr. Wild is asked to go for the win, this horse will not give up. He is a fighter through and through. At the end of any race, Mr. Wild contents himself with a job well done and goes on the hunt for downtime with his equine friends and treats from his humans. As long as this horse is treated right, he will give every task asked of him his all, every time.
A new side of Mr Wild is revealed on the track - the tactical one. When Wild is in the gate, gone is the nicely mannered colt that's everybody's favorite. Wild is surprisingly ruthless when he races. He takes no prisoners and sticks it to his competition every step of the way. In the fact of such determination and intellectualism, many horses fade away. Wild hones his tactics with every race and only gets better as time goes by. He knows his job on the track and is always keen to perform it.
