Rea is the intense nutcase of her crop. Born to an insanely intense dam and by a sire with a fairly intense line, no one could say they were surprised when Rea turned out to be exactly as expected. The mare is classy to the core, but a complete diva with a very low tolerance for drama, being challenged, or dirt anywhere on her perfectly shaded bay coat. Rea is meticulous about her appearance, but not at all about her behavior. She never has an issue making a big deal out of something and will consistently challenge those around her, just to ensure no one will fight back. The only type of relationship that works with Rea is one of dominance, though with a select few humans Rea has relaxed this shell to allow for her proper feeding and care.
Leg Type: Front Runner
Rea inherited her dam's need to be dominant. The minute the gates open, she is out in a flash and assumes control o the pace and the field. She is the kind of horse that can gradually get faster with each passing furlong and sees any attempts to challenge her as excuses to dig deep and go even faster. She does not take kindly to sharing her lead and will rebuff attempts to take it from her to the point of complete and utter exhaustion. Rea does not lose well and holds grudges. She also detects a muddy track and will rarely run her best on anything other than the finest fastest dirt, though her need to win tends to win over her need to be pretty on most occasions.
