Go Secretly is one of those mares that you aren't sure you should spend too much time with in the event that she decides she has had enough. Her eyes are always very blase to what's going on around her, unless she's on the track. While some horses have a nice RBF, Go Secretly might just be the queen of looking bored. None of the staff has been bit or kicked by her, but she still has a nice little edge that warns you off. Was that a switch of the tail a fly or a warning? And what of the suddenly cocked hoof? Most horses accompany warnings with expressive looks of displeasure, but not Secret. Perhaps she really is just that chill? In any event, Secret isn't much of a pusher on the ground. She won't throw her weight around or overly test her humans beyond her borderline lack of personality. If you approach her with a carrot, she'll contemplate before gently biting the end and dragging it from your hand as if doing you a favor.
Leg Type: Preceder
Secret's indifference dissipates like fog when she enters the paddock for a race. Her ears will shoot up and her eyes will fill with obvious emotion and she'll begin to prance animatedly. In the paddock, Go Secretly will size up her competition, stopping to pause every two feet to swivel her ears. Her habit can be a bit annoying, but it's part of her so her quirk is tolerated. Once Secret is is in the gate, it's game time. She is one of those rare perfect horses that barely move a muscle in the starting stall and break like a fire has been lit to their tail. While quick, Go Secretly will always settle off another horse and set her pace to theirs. She is practically a mirror image, but a better controlled, unbothered one. If they want to sprint through a first quarter in :21 or a first quarter in :24, Go Secretly will keep up with disdain as though she is patronizing a wayward child. Like her dam, her early cruising speed will carry her to the lead on that far turn. With a breakneck turn of foot as they straighten up in the homestretch, Secret will open up on the field and break the race wide open as she bolts for the wire.
